Walls in Scandinavian style.
Fashion is well acquainted with cases of trends making a comeback from previous years. The same applies to interior design trends. Posters, wallpapers, or wall stencils—don't we recognize them from somewhere? Today, these decorations are making a comeback, winning the hearts of owners of interiors decorated in Scandinavian and minimalist styles.
Modern wallpapers for the wall
The 90s were the golden era of wallpapers. Prints featuring exotic scenes from sunny, oceanic beaches dominated the walls of Polish apartments. Poor resolution and less than optimal color representation—back then, these were details that didn't matter much. Having a wallpaper was THE thing. No wonder that for many years they almost completely disappeared from Polish homes, becoming a symbol of tackiness and kitsch.
However, much has changed since then. Technology has allowed the creation of wallpapers of unprecedented quality, printed on high-quality paper. Additionally, the advent of fast Internet has enabled ordering prints delivered to your doorstep. The big comeback of wallpapers didn't take long.
Print quality is not the only thing that distinguishes contemporary wallpapers from their predecessors. What the generation of the 90s could not count on was an equally wide selection of patterns designed by many independent authors. This diversity also allowed the creation of original, unique solutions. Without a doubt, wallpapers adapt best in Scandinavian and minimalist apartments, where they serve as accents. Therefore, prints with clear, vibrant colors are particularly popular today.
Wall stencils
The minimal and Scandi styles are characterized by the economy of form, including wall decorations. However, this is not about a small number of decorations, but about their raw character. Therefore, stencils, once popular, have adapted so well in apartments decorated in this aesthetic. Once again, the main
merit was the abundance of patterns, and even the ability to order stencils printed according to your own designs. This way, seemingly simple wall decorations began to create unique compositions. It's no wonder that they are eagerly embraced by people who value independence, creativity, and their own initiative. Painting with stencils is also a great activity that people of all ages can participate in.
Scandinavian posters
When the ScandiPoster.pl store was created, minimalist posters were only talked about in interior design magazines and blogs. The availability of Scandinavian posters in Poland was limited, but the desire to have them was immense. Thanks to our store, this desire can finally be fulfilled. The offer includes a wide range of sizes and categories. Among them are botanical-themed posters, animal-themed, bicycle-themed, as well as minimalist movie posters and motivational posters. They look good as standalone decorations or in the company of other aesthetically matched posters. A home gallery of posters, which we wrote about last time, is an interesting solution: HERE.
